#aigoldenday - Prep 06
The most exciting part for me was decorating
the “hantaran” because DIY is fun and also cost saving. However I did not do it
alone but with my mom & dad. We want to do something that easier to carry and
not much work or have to spend so much time. I want it simple, a bit different
from others but still follow my theme “Golden Minimalist”.
Here are the outcomes:
p/s: agak-agak boleh ambil upah tak lepas ni?
That was for the groom. I’m sure you want to
get some ideas of things to buy for the bride’s hantaran. Below are the things for
me but my mother-in-law decorated it. (DIY gak almost similar to ours pulak tu even we did not share the ideas or any pics sebab nak surprise kononnye!)
For hantaran, we bought shoes that we will
wear on the reception day. Even our rings we just bought readymade one. We did
not buy the diamonds separately like others to save time and cost. Other things
we choose something wearable and things that we do not have yet.
Note: All pictures in this entry was taken by my sis and edited by me!

Assalamualaikum.. Salam Maulidur Rasul..
Syoknyeee awal2 tahun da banyak cuti.. so
adela mase nak “berblogging”..
Hehe.. so today lets continue with my reception’s
invitation card!
I wish I could do the overall design by myself
but I do not have so much time. So, I sketched the logo, prepared the text/content
of the card but my dad helps me do the map sketched. Then, my sis help me to
arrange the content/layout before send the drafts to my friend Kamarul owner of
Kertas Cinta.

He finalized the design and print for me
together with the bunting & “tanda arah”. Alhamdulillah I’m very satisfied
as the outcome very nice and delivery on time. I also did recommend him to my friends
and most of them also satisfied with his services!
Why Ai? I’m sure everyone guesses it’s our name Anis &
Ikmal. Yup it’s true but indirectly “Ài” also means love in mandarin. “Ai” in Japanese
also means love.

As for hand bouquet it is a trend now not
using fresh flowers. Of course using fresh flowers looks classier and nice but artificial
hand bouquet can be use again thus it is cost saving.
Thus, I bought this pearl & crystal
hand bouquet.

Actually I choose white & silver so it will
match with any dress so I could use not just during my solemnization but also
reception. However my colleague, Hana was so kind and lends me her button hand
bouquet that she used during her solemnization. Alhamdulillah it was nice and matched with my
solemnizations dress.
